Pauline Mae DeVries Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pauline Mae DeVries of Dixon, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 14, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Paul Gordon and Gladys Gordon (Crump); her former husband Lavond Albright; her husband Vernon L. DeVries; and her brother Richard Gordon.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Reuter (Randy) of Oregon, IL; her grandchildren, Ryan Reuter (Kristen) of Murray, UT and Amber Messer (Chad) of Golden, CO; her great grandchild Ava Messer; her stepsons, Dan DeVries (Molly) of Houston, TX and David DeVries (Marcia) of Dixon; her stepgrandchildren, Jonathan DeVries (Amy) of Anchorage, AK, Hannah Williamson (Larry) of Jackson, MS, Connor DeVries of Denver, CO and Cayley DeVries of Houston, TX; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Benaiah, Charese, Ezekiel and Elijah DeVries.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel Evangelical Congregational Church (131 N Court St, Dixon, IL 61021). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (416 S Dement Ave, Dixon, IL 61021).
Memorials may be directed to Rock River Bible Camp.
