It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth E. Pitts of Dixon, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Ruth is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Ruth's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Mally and Azelie Mally; and her children, Mark, Thomas and Eileen Pitts.
She is survived by: her children, Michaelene Pitts, John Pitts (Haley), James Pitts, Glenn Pitts (Patti), David Pitts and Linda Hill (William).
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Andrew the Apostle Church (505 Kingston Dr, Romeoville, IL 60446).
