She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Will Dirks and Margaret Dirks; her brother-in-law Louis "Lou" Gerdes; her husband Lou; her children, Terri Kornowski (Michael) of Eagle, WI, Todd Gerdes (Kelly Johnson) of Washington, DC and TyAnne Schmidt (Bradley) of Jasper; and her grandchildren, Michael Schmidt (Andrew Mitchell), Amanda Schmidt, Sydney Kornowski and Alex Kornowski.
As the Covid-19 pandemic precludes the possibility of gathering at this time, a memorial will be held at a later date when we can safely do so.
