It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Taylor of Dixon, Illinois, who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Taylor; her parent Opal Aileen Burton (Brandon); and her brothers-in-law, Charles Krukewitt and Bill Schaumburg. She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Ann Welborn (Stephen) of Kildeer, IL; her grandchildren, Taylor Marie Welborn, U. K. and Mia Grace Welborn of Kildeer, IL; and her sisters, Carol Krukewitt and Marlene Schaumburg.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, Ltd. (213 Crawford Ave, Dixon, IL 61021). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (1121 N Galena Ave, Dixon, IL 61021).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
