He is survived by : his close friend Lucy; his children, Whitney Lewis (Rocky Stone) of Grand Detour, Jeff Lewis (Brandie) of Dixon, Josh Lewis (Darcey) of Dixon, Stan and Sandy; his grandchildren, Michela Latimer (Tony) of Dixon, Brandan Gartman (Gabriella) of Phoenix, AZ, Ciera Shippert (Brennan) of Polo, Samantha Dailey (Joe) of Dixon, Dakota Lewis of Boulder, CO, Carmen of Dixon, Alexander of Dixon, Levi of Dixon and Micah "Bear" Lewis of Dixon; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Jakobi, Jemma Latimer, Emmitt Gartman, Kennedi, Hadleigh "Peanut" and Madden Shippert; his wife Sandy; and his sister Sharon Smith of Franklin Grove.

“This completely took me by surprise. Stanley was one of the West End gang and we all of us had a load of fun growing up in the West End. We played ball in the lot across from the family house, went swimming as often as we could afford it at the Pool. We went up on the hill and shot guns, ate mulberrys and went sledding in the winter(watch out for the big rock at the bottom) . We all had a great time growing up together and I know Stan enjoyed that. He told me so! Rich Senn”
