She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Raymond Battista; and her children, Raymond Battista (late Pam), Benedetto Battista (Gail), James Battista (Dawn), Wayne Battista (Kathy), Pam Tucker (Dave) and Petie Battista. She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 1 deceased grandchild and many great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smits DeYoung-Vroegh Chapel (649 E 162nd St, South Holland, IL 60473). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Oakland Memory Lanes Cemetery (15200 Lincoln Ave, Dolton, IL 60419).
