He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, John E. Woods Jr. and Sabrina Woods; his grandchildren, Jasmine, Jamaria, Taneya, Trejohn and Lavaughn Woods; his great grandchildren, Trayvion and Torrian; his brothers, James Woods, James "Jimmy" Woods, Larry Simmons and Sterling Stewart; and his close friend Valerie Kennedy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Covenant Fellowship Church of South Holland (600 W 162nd St, South Holland, IL 60473). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Covenant Fellowship Church (600 W 162nd St, South Holland, IL 60473).
