He was predeceased by: his parents, Levern Marquis and Juliette Marquis (Dionne); his wife Nancy Spitler; his siblings, Eldron Marquis and Burnetta Curby; and his daughter Kathy Ziehr.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tracy Lottinville (Kent) of St. Anne and Wendy Corriveau (Jeff) of St. Anne; his siblings, Bonita Larson of Iroquois and Merlin "Pete" Marquis (Lynn) of Ashkum; his grandchildren, Josh Ziehr, Missy Heavilin (Logan), Brandi Martin (Garrett), Stefanie Wheeler, Courtney Corriveau and Erin Corriveau; and his great grandchildren, Braxtyn, Tyssleigh, Tandon, Kaden, Kenna and Leo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Baier Funeral Home (102 W Oak St, Watseka, IL 60970). A Mass was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (308 St Charles St, Beaverville, IL 60912). A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:45 AM at the same location.
