It is with sadness that the passing of Charles Horn of Dowell, Illinois is shared. Charles, born on November 12, 1949, passed away on July 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Horn and Margie Horn (Killman). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Schimpf; his children, Dena Teague (Eddie), Amy Horn, John Horn (Brandee) and Kendra Boyd (Stevie); his grandchildren, Kali Moe (Todd), Kelsi Kreid (Kaleb), Alexandra Rawson (Chris), Trevor Middleton (Cori), Hadlee Hicks (Hunter), Trae Horn and Drake Horn (Lindsey); his sisters, Gayla Thompson (Chuck) and Janie Horn (Ron); and his sister-in-law Dianne Jones. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions may be made to the Marion VA Medical Center.
