With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ralph W. Ross Sr. of Dowell, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 13, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert H. Ross and Gladys L. Ross (Wilks); his wife Helen L. Martie; his daughter Rhonda Bombardo; and his siblings, Bobby Ross, Ronnie Ross and Phyllis Roberts.

He is survived by: his children, Jody Compton (Troy) of Dowell and Ralph Ross, Jr. of Dowell; his grandchildren, Stephenie Moore (Rocky), Ross Cook (Sara), Nicole Messer (Chris), Megan Holford and Gina Canfield (Stone); and his sister Paulette Clark (Galen) of Manteno, IL. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.

Friends may make memorials to Du Quoin Food Pantry and will be accepted at the funeral home.
