With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amy Romsey of Downers Grove, Illinois, who passed away on February 9, 2026 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father-in-law Steve. She is survived by: her parents, Bob Somerville and Debbie Somerville; her husband Eric; her children, Joey, Jack, Jude and Jonah; her sister Leah Thulin (Chris); her nephews, Emmitt, Ethan, Owen and Oliver; her mother-in-law Sharon; her brother-in-law Beau (Christine); Malone. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless blessed friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests your consideration for a future donation to a memorial fund that is in the process of being established in Amy's name where every dollar donated will go to Appendix Cancer research and supporting those battling this rare disease.
