He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Anne; his children, Leonard (Linda), Kathleen Smyser, Joseph (late Diana), Stephen (Suzanne), Patrick (late Donna) and Jean Swenson (Scott); his grandchildren, Christine (Tiburcio Contreras), Patricia, Meredith Jennings (Michael), Andrew Smyser (Katherine), Brian Smyser (Namrata Mehta), Mary Kathleen Smyser, Madeline, Jacob, Samuel, Kevin, Hannah, Rachael Swenson, Jared Swenson (Abigail) and Brent Swenson; and his great grandchildren, Imogen and Nathaniel Smyser.
