She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jack R. Whitacre; her children, Brad Whitacre (Kandi), Lee O'Hara (Kevin) and Todd McCarthy; her grandchildren, Jared, Ally, Aidan and Ferghus; and her aunt Dee.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home & Cremation Services (4343 Main St, Downers Grove, IL 60515). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (4801 Main St, Downers Grove, IL 60515).
