He is survived by: his wife Dee Van Dyke (Dorothy); his daughters, Susan Rightsell (Beau) of Washington, D. C. and Jennifer Swanson (Scott) of Big Lake, Minnesota; and his grandchildren, Lilly Rae, Charlie, Taylor and Brayden of Washington, D. C..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home (4343 Main St, Downers Grove, IL 60515). A Mass was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary of Gostyn Parish (445 Prairie Ave, Downers Grove, IL 60515).
