He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Jenifer Gornik (Andrew), Debbie Schmitt (Shawn) and Jason Weist; and his grandchildren, Tyler Schmitt, Emily Gornik, Drew Schmitt, Olivia Gornik and Ryan Schmitt.
