He was predeceased by: his daughter Emily A. Olsen (Reed Black). He is survived by: his wife Pamela J. Stephan; his son David S. Olsen (Amir Raad); his mother Beverly Olsen; his sisters, Valerie Golden (Donald) and Patricia Olsen (John Lato); his nieces and nephews, Megan (Nicholas), Kevin, Anna (Anas), John Henry and Caroline; and his great-nephews, Jacob and Kyle. He is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.

Memorial gifts may be directed to The American Red Cross to support blood donations or the Grove Express Foundation, the annual Downers Grove Thanksgiving Day run.
