He was predeceased by: his father Francis Hassert; his brother Michael Hassert; and his niece Ashley Hassert. He is survived by: his mother Joan Hassert; his wife Therese Hassert; his children, Joseph Hassert and Kelly Nickelotti (Lorenzo); his grandchildren, Logan, Winnie and Luke Nickelotti; and his siblings, Lori Russell, Bob Hassert (Janet), Jim Hassert (Colleen), Cathy Evans (Craig) and Tom Hassert. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Church (36 N Ellsworth St, Naperville, IL 60540).
