He is survived by: his wife Carol Sommer; his children, Robert Sommer (Sarah), Timothy Sommer (Jennifer) and Jill Sommer; his grandchildren, Juliana and Noah; and his siblings, Joseph Sommer (Nan) and Janice Sommer.
