We bid farewell to Lorraine Hartigan of Downers Grove, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 5, 2025 at the age of 98. Lorraine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Reitinger and Mabel Reitinger; her husband Joseph E. Hartigan; and her son Alan J. Hartigan. She is survived by: her son Gary Hartigan (Terry); her grandchildren, Kimberly Almazan (Ed), Patrick Hartigan (Mirela), Alan Hartigan (Sarah) and Jennifer Kendra (John); and her great grandchildren, Emin, Mason, Addison, John and Matthew.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (5211 Carpenter St, Downers Grove, IL 60515).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
