He was predeceased by: his parents, John Angele and Rose Angele; and his sister Catherine Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Karen Hanek (David) and John Angele (Brianne); and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexander, Samantha Hanek, Sophia, Ava, Allison and Arden Angele.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hallowell & James Funeral Home (301 75th St, Downers Grove, IL 60516). A prayer was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to West Suburban Humane Society appreciated.
