It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Illing (Downers Grove, Illinois), who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Patricia Illing to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Myrtle Allman and Patrick J. Allman; her husband Edward B. Illing, Jr.; her son Richard; her sister Betty Streit; her children, Woody (Jenny), Susan, Christine Wieczorek (Greg), Linda, Peter (Denise), Nancy Illing-Ward (Danny), Mark (Elisa) and Mary; Tony O'Neal. She was also cherished by two cousins, twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews.
Pat was a founding member of the Downers Grove Pool Association and sponsored an annual swim party, Grandma's Pool Party, for her children and their progeny at "the pool" until Covid hit.
