Robert A. Meyer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert A. Meyer (Downers Grove, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Robert shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Robert farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Peggi; his friend Fan; and his aunt Peggi.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home (4343 Main St, Downers Grove, IL 60515). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Service: Saturday, April 25th at 10:00 AM, In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bob's honor to the following 501c3 charities: Northern Illinois Food Bank (https://solvehungertoday.org) or the Village Vocal Chords.
