He was predeceased by : his siblings, Rita Rebhan (Bill), Daniel Moran (Barb) and Joyce Famera (Jerry). He is survived by : his wife Kathy; his children, Thomas Moran, Sarah Szwarc (Krystian) and Rebecca Moran; his grandsons, Vincent and Alexander Szwarc; and his siblings, Sally Gasparich (John) and Michael Moran.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hallowell & James Funeral Home (301 75th St, Downers Grove, IL 60516). A prayer was held on Monday, January 8th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
