She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Leischner and Helen Leischner (Tallon); and her brother Herman "Whitey" Leischner. She is survived by: her children, Paul Brown (Dawn), Tom Brown (Kim), Janet Gerber (Mark) of Louisville, KY and Daniel Brown (Patty) of Troy, OH; her sister Erma Taylor of Sarasota, FL; and her grandchildren, Hannah Brown (Isaac Jacobson), Megan Huseth (Kevin), Miriam Haman (Andrew), Natalie Brown, Tim Brown, Joseph Schumacher, Andrea Brown (Baryl Brandt), Clara Brown, Alice Brown and Edith Brown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be left to Home Sweet Home Ministries, Mennonite Central Committee or the Nature Conservancy.
