It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim R. Kirk of Downs, Illinois, born in Normal, Illinois, who passed away on August 7, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert E. Kirk and Barbara Kirk (Smith); and his sister Karen Gannaway. He is survived by : his wife Janet Kirk of Downs; his son Cody Kirk (Shari) of Bloomington; his stepchildren, Michelle Woith (Jeff) of Downs and Tim Cunningham (Amy) of Montgomery, Texas; his grandchildren, Caiden, Addison Kirk of Bloomington, Chris Powell (Amber) of Normal, Brandon and Samantha Cunningham of Montgomery, Texas; his great grandchildren, Conner and Grayson Powell; his siblings, Mike Kirk (Pat) of Bloomington, Tim and Nancy Spangler (Robert) of Dunedin, Fla; and his brother-in-law Ron Gannaway of Normal.

Memorials may be made to the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
