With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard I. Hayes of Downs, Illinois, who passed away on September 20, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Hayes and Delpha Harper Hayes. He is survived by : his son Richard Hayes (Leigh); his stepson David Voegele (Connie); his granddaughters, Ericka Schroeder (Justin) and Ashlyn Hayes; his great grandchildren, Tucker and McCoy; his brothers, Bill Hayes (Tita) and Robert Hayes (Delaine); and his sisters-in-law, Judy and Mary Hayes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and special neighbors and friends.

Memorials may be made to Kindred Hospice, 205 N. Williamsburg Dr., Bloomington, Illinois 61704.
