She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Cook and Mary Cook (Young); her husband Charles Noel Genesio; her siblings, Claude Cook, Jerry Cook, Wilma Oestreicher (Dwight), Norma McMurray (Bill) and Nellie Vancil (Howard); and her granddaughter Elizabeth Irene Britton.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Britton (Duncan) of Du Quoin and Charles Noel Genesio, II (Heather) of Du Quoin; her grandchildren, Emily Ann Hunsaker (Chris), Carrie Nell Smith (Aaron), Blaine Andrew Britton, Kelly Elisabeth Genesio, Charles Noel Genesio, III, Noah Lee Hunsaker, Jonah Charles Hunsaker, Adalynn Rae Hunsaker, Audey Tobias Smith and Ayden Tremayne Smith; her brother Tommy Cook (Vita Kay); and her sister-in-law Rita Cook. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may make memorials to Marshall Browning Hospital Tree of Life, Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Residential Hospice, Vision Church, or Sunfield Methodist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
