It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty L. Rea of Du Quoin, Illinois, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty L. Rea to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Alva McKinley and Mina Brayfield (Brown); her son Danny Rea; and her brothers, Noel Brayfield and Nelson Brayfield.

She is survived by : her sons, Dennis Rea (Laura) of Du Quoin and Daryl Rea of Florida; and her siblings, Don Brayfield (Bettie) of Du Quoin and Margaret Dorsey of Du Quoin. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

Friends may make memorials to Perry County Humane Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
