He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert King and Esther King (Hamburger); and his brother Perry King. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Foster; his daughter Hilary Heape (Ryan) of Du Quoin; his grandchildren, Nicholas King (Emma Guiddoum) and Emma Fischer; his stepgrandchildren, Braden Heape (Whittney), Joshua Heape and Lauren Heape; his stepgreat-granddaughter Sawyer Heape; his sister Debbie Brosch (Louie) of Osage City, KS; and his pets, Yardley and Mack. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may make memorials to Perry County Humane Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
