Charles leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Charles’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Petry and Clara Petry (Aubry); and his sister Joan Petry. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Jones; his children, Amy Romano (Peter) of Springfield, IL and J. Carlton Petry of Du Quoin; his granddaughters, Isabella Romano of Springfield, IL and Sophia Romano of Springfield, IL; and his sister Verna Epplin of Du Quoin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Friends may make memorials to Du Quoin Gold Plate or Tunnel To Towers Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
