He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin L. Darnell and Dorothy L. Darnell (Watson); his siblings, Ron Darnell, Vickie and Melinda; his parents-in-law, Harry and Helen Bunge; his siblings-in-law, Jerry Maxton, Karl Bunge and Janet Bunge; and his nephew Bryan Maxton.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy G. Bunge; his daughters, Krysta Brown (Nick) of Du Quoin and Kacie Lang (Patrick) of Pinckneyville; his grandchildren, Drake Brown, Matilyn Brown, Grant Lang and Alexandra Lang; his sister Elaine "Missy" Dawson (Jeff); his siblings-in-law, Linda Darnell, Janet Maxton, Kris Aken (Steve), Harold and Marion Bunge; his aunt Joan Worsham; and his uncles, William Don Watson and Bobby Joe Watson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins.
