He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hanley and Reba Philina Norton (Jones). He is survived by: his wife Mary Norton of DuQuoin, IL; his children, Susan Mary Rasp (Mark) of O'Fallon, IL, Peggy Holland (David) and Timothy David Norton (JoAnn) of Crestwood, MO; his grandchildren, Jacob Holland of Perryville, MO, Chase Holland (Tabitha) of California, Hannah Holland of Dupo, IL and Diva L. Norton of Japan; his niece Debbie DeMent (Randy) of Du Quoin; and his close friends, Maria Lavoto and Cheryl Swallers (Steve) of Du Quoin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pyatt Funeral Home (138 E Perry St, Du Quoin, IL 62832). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
