It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Lynn Perkey of Du Quoin, Illinois, who passed away on May 6, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Stanhouse and Opal Stanhouse (Mezo); her husband Albert Leo Perkey; her daughters, Lisa Kay Perkey and Sheila Kay Sims; her granddaughter Erika Sims; and her brother Bill Stanhouse.

She is survived by: her daughter Robin Ridgeway (Forrest) of Du Quoin; her grandsons, Forrest Ridgeway III of Du Quoin, Bryce Ridgeway of Du Quoin and Jacob Bealer of Du Quoin; and her sisters, Nancy Peck (Richard) of Johnston City, IL and Sandy McCrary of Pinckneyville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may make memorials to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
