She was predeceased by: her parents, James Scott and Isabelle Templeton (Boeheim); her half-sister Elizabeth Jane Templeton; and her former husband Walter J. Minton. She is survived by: her son James Isaac Templeton Minton of Du Quoin; and her stepsons, Joseph Minton of South Port, NC and John Minton of Portsmouth, VA..

Friends may make memorials to Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois, Du Quoin #300 Education Foundation or John A. Logan College Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
