She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Wright and Virginia Wright (Davis); her husband Harry Eugene Carney, Jr.; and her siblings, Don, John Wright and Suzanne Bova.
She is survived by: her sons, Brett Obertini of Perryville, Mike Obertini of Du Quoin and Charles "Chuck" Obertini of Du Quoin; her grandchildren, Zackery Obertini, Mike Obertini, Jr., Chris Meyer and Kaigon Meyer; and her sister Diana Woodsides of Dowell. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
