He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Hampsey and Pauline Nell Hampsey (Kelley); his wife Bonnie M. Hutchings; his daughter Shana Hampsey; and his sister Imola Davis.

He is survived by : his half-brothers, Jim Hampsey of Alton, IL and Carroll Kunze of Twentynine Palms, CA; and his nieces, Cheryl Hutchings of Fairview Heights, IL and Tina McKee.

Friends may make memorials to the Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
