She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kopp and Allene Kopp (Morgan); and her brothers, John Kopp, Rodney Kopp and James Kopp.

She is survived by: her husband Gary R. Monroe; her children, Wesley Monroe of Du Quoin and Dawn Violett (Ryan) of Carbondale; her grandchildren, John Robert Monroe, Lauren Kyser, Christopher Monroe, Colton Violett, Aubrey Violett, Max and Brandt; her friend Tina Monroe; and her sister Barbara Moore of Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may make memorials to Elkville Christian Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
