She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Kennedy and Anna Louise Kennedy (Cavins); her husband Brian D. Atkins; and her sister Carol Dickens. She is survived by: her children, Jason Vancil (Brandi), Amy Ramsey (Jason) and Renee Browning (Christopher); her stepchildren, Ericka Atkins of Du Quoin and Travis Atkins (Tina); and her great-niece Meleny Rucks of Du Quoin. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
