We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2025, at the age of 88, Kenneth L. Simmons of Du Quoin, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Simmons and Leola Simmons (Harris); and his siblings, Emmanuel Simmons, Earl Simmons, Jr., George Simmons, Edward Simmons, Leamon Simmons, Rev. Robert Simmons, Carl Simmons, Rev. Bessie Bledsoe, Irene Dunklin, Lorretta Bailey, Genevie Louise Simmons, Dimple Simmons, Mary Jones and Birdie Robinson.

He is survived by: his sister Shirley Williams of Du Quoin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Friends may make memorials to Smith Memorial Methodist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
