We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Lyle E. Sizemore of Du Quoin, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Sizemore and Ruth Sizemore (Stroud); his former wife Emma Dennison; his spouse Shelby Tilley (Fisher); his children, Sandra Moss and Mike Tilley; and his siblings, Danny Sizemore and Pat Cook.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Sizemore (Wendy) of Coulterville, Amy Robinson (Robert) of Benton and Rob Tilley of Du Quoin; his brother Marvin Sizemore (Cindy) of Du Quoin; and his grandchildren, Devan Vaughn, Debbie Ruff, Jessica Neal, Michelle Neal, Andrea Beal, Danny Sizemore, Jr., Kaylie Sizemore, Derrick Sizemore, Hunter Sizemore, Robbie Tilley, Chasity Porter, Jodi Vonderhide, Miles Tilley and Parker Tilley. He is also survived by twenty-two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Searby Funeral Homes (130 S Washington St, Du Quoin, IL 62832). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Friends may make memorials to Liberty Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
