He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Jones and Velma Jones (Cash); his grandson Jacob Craig; and his siblings, David Craig and Faye Bathon.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean Bowlin; his children, Dean Craig (Margaret), Lance Craig (Teresa), Kim Jones (Stan), Julie Jones of Du Quoin and Cory Jones (Suzanne); and his siblings, Roy Jones (Lee), Faith Jones of Du Quoin and Frank Saunders (Nikki). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Searby Funeral Homes (130 S Washington St, Du Quoin, IL 62832). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Friends may make memorials to the Du Quoin Food Pantry and will be accepted at the funeral home.
