She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Huie and Lilyan Huie (Otzwirk); her husband Charles D. Schimpf; her son-in-law Richard Wagner; and her brothers-in-law, Andy Murray and Fred Foster.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Schimpf (Kim) of Le Roy, IL and Lisa Diane Wagner of Swansea, IL; her grandchildren, Haley Hammoud (Daniel), Lukas Schimpf and Ashley Wagner; her great grandchild Michael Hammoud; her sisters, Brenda Murray of Du Quoin and Chris Foster of Du Quoin; and her nieces and nephews, Debbie Falla, Jeanne Carey, Natalie Foster-Long, Melanie Blair, Jean Hunleth, Frank Hunleth, Joe Gotta and Mike Gotta.
