It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Marie Keene of Du Quoin, Illinois, born in Middletown, Ohio, who passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James M. Yearion and Helen M. Yearion (Harmount); her husband Arthur R. "Ross" Keene, Jr.; her son Peter Francis Keene; her son-in-law Michael W. Loos; and her brother-in-law John Dujsik.

She is survived by : her daughters, Michelle Dudek (Kevin) of Tamaroa and Rose Marie Loos (Darrin Freeman) of Pinckneyville; her grandchildren, Ashley Greer (Andrew Jerrod), Stephanie Loos of Sparta and Kimberly Loss of Ashley; her great grandchildren, Andrew Ross Greer of Du Quoin, Markus Clark of Sparta, Jackson Newcomb of Ashley and Jake Newcomb of Ashley; her sister Karen Dujsik of Florida; her cousins, Nancy Hall of California and Julie McArdle of California; her close friends, John and Linda Stoner of Du Quoin; and her friends, Eileen, Pauline, Evelyn and Madonna. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Friends may make memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
