It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Lou Brown of Du Quoin, Illinois, who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Koster and Grace Koster (Milligan); her husband Clarence Ray Brown; and her daughter Tina Pabst. She is survived by: her children, Teri DiRico (Tony) of Appling, GA and Rodney Brown of Du Quoin; her sister Ethel White of Gary, IN; her sister-in-law Ollie Brown of Galatia, IL; her grandchildren, Daren Pabst (Keyma) of Pell City, AL, Tyler DiRico of Atlanta, GA, Leslie Rose (Edward) of Bowling Green, KY, Kaleb DiRico (Mollie) of DeWitt, IA, Josh Mowery of King City, VA and Zachary Brown (Hannah) of Joppa, IL; her great grandchildren, Addison Rose, Richmond Rose, Drake Pabst, Zedek Pabst, Keeley Pabst, Giles DiRico and Ophelia DiRico; her close friends, Chuck and Dotty Ridgeway; and her caregiver Cici Billings. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may make memorials to Faith Assembly of God Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
