He was predeceased by: his parents, Winton Donoghue and Vivian Donoghue (Gray); his son Michael Donoghue; and his sisters, Margaret Messmore and Kathy Randolph Furlow.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Maynard; his son Mark Donoghue (Kasie Harris); his grandchildren, Daulton Donoghue of Hurst, Klayton Donoghue (Gabrielle) of Du Quoin, Lathan Harris (Erica) of Du Quoin, Shelby Harris (Brody) of Du Quoin and Austin Harris of Du Quoin; his great grandchildren, Paxtyn Donoghue, Lilah Harris, Chevy Harris and Paislee Troutt; his sisters, Patricia Moore of Du Quoin, Sharon Hortin of Martin, TN and Geri Mohr of Murphysboro; and his pets, Lucy and Ginger. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Quoin Cemetery (8686 Old State Rte 14, Du Quoin, IL 62832).
Friends may make memorials to Perry County Humane Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
