He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Whitman and Beatrice Whitman (Bowman); his sister Jan "Jake" Jenkins; his parents-in-law, Joe and Dorothy Montroy; his siblings-in-law, Mary Buergin (Bob), Darlene Bowling (Dan), Shirley Roosken (Hank), Norma Kirk (Roger) and Margaret Tilley; his nieces, Barb Maze and Pamela Glasser; his nephew Erik Glasser; and his pet Alley.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Montroy; his daughters, Kimberly Rae Whitman of Commerce City, CO, Koreen "Kori" Lyn Whitman Gray of Graham, WA and Kelly Jo Whitman of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Shelbi Buderus (Taylor) of Alpharetta, GA, Tanner Kelly (Jena) of Commerce City, CO, Aaron Gray (Sarah) of New Orleans, LA, Lauren Stredicke (Eli) of Bellingham, WA and Madalyn Gray of Puyallup, WA; his great grandchildren, Salem Lavon Kelly of Commerce City, CO and Joan Nicole Stredicke of Bellingham, WA; his brother-in-law Dan Tilley of Du Quoin; and his pet Delta Blue. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
Friends may make memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
