He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alcaraz and Juanita Alcaraz (Pena); his wife Delores Motteler; his son David Alcaraz; and his siblings, Ed, George, Ray, Robert Hernandez and Consuelo Wren.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike Alcaraz (Dawn) of Kewanee, IL, Ross Alcaraz of Dunlap, IL and John Alcaraz (Cynthia) of Hanna City, IL; his daughter-in-law Angela Alcaraz of Pompano Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Aaron, Jarod, Ashley, Kyle, Katelynne and Cory; his great grandchildren, Landon, Jayci, Paysen, Oliver, Savannah, Zoe and Atalie; and his brother Louie Alcaraz of East Peoria, IL..
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (10811 Knoxville Ave, Peoria, IL 61615).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church.
