He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Masek and Emma Mildred Masek (Urban). He is survived by: his wife Carol Masek; his children, Heidi Streetman (Glenn), Robert J. Masek (Elizabeth) and Holly Masek (Jesse Atkins); his grandsons, James Streetman and Roman Atkins Masek; and his sister Millie Squire (John). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Northminster Presbyterian Church (10720 Knoxville Ave, Peoria, IL 61615). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Bohemian National Cemetery (5255 N Pulaski Rd, Chicago, IL 60630).
