He is survived by: his children, Chris Dowdell (Leslie) of Carlock, Brad Dowdell (Tammy) of Harrisburg, Missouri, CJ Smith of Bartonville, Chad Smith of Peoria and Brett Smith (Angie) of Creve Coeur; his grandchildren, Sydney (Colin), RyLee, Josie, Rylee Ann, Anthony, Lexy, Ashley (Sean) of Alex, CJ, Taylor, Brett Jr., Zach, Cameron and Jayce; his great grandchildren, Lillian, Coan, Austin, Alivia, Levi, Lincoln and Lyla; and his siblings, Randy Dowdell (Cindy) of Sullivan, Illinois and Beth. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
