It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terry L. Kurtz of Dunlap, Illinois, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Homer "Lee" Kurtz and Leta Kurtz (Alexander); and his spouse Deborrah E. Smith. He is survived by : his children, Erica Winger (Chad) of Peoria, IL and Nathan Kurtz (Beth) of Chillicothe, IL; his grandchildren, Riley, Landon and Melody; and his brother David Kurtz (Jan) of North Liberty, IA. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

In remembrance of Terry's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association of America or the American Heart Association.
